Hashim Saleh (Arabic: هاشم صالح) (born 15 October 1981) is an Omani football striker who plays for Dhofar. A member of the Oman national football team, he wears the number 9 shirt for both club and country.
Hashim has been fighting for a place on the first squad of the national team as a forward, but players such as Hassan Rabia, Badar Al-Maimani, and Imad Al-Hosni make it difficult for him to make many appearances. Although he has not made as many appearances as Al-Hosni or Al-Maimani, he was featured in many games as a substitute, and even frequently started. In the 2007 Gulf Cup of Nations, he scored a magnificent goal against a stunned Kuwait, which was thought by many as "the best goal in the competition". He was also on the squad in the 16th Gulf Cup in Kuwait and on the 19th Gulf Cup squad in Muscat.

Hashim has been with a number of clubs, from Al-Nasr to rival Dhofar, then transferring to a couple of Kuwaiti clubs. In 2008 he returned to Oman with Al-Suwaiq, then returning back to Dhofar. During his brief stay at Suwaiq, he led them to victory in the Sultan Qaboos Cup final against Al-Nahda. After his return to Dhofar, he again helped lead the team to the final, losing to a lower-leveled Saham.
In 2010 Hashim Saleh renewed his contract with Dhofar, extending his stay with the club for another season.[1]
